Tattoos in the Workplace

I used to think that #tattoos didn’t belong in the workplace. That was before I got a tattoo. 😂

And even more so now, because our daughter decided she wanted to become a tattoo artist. 🤯

Prior to 2021, I was pretty proud of the fact that I was probably one of the few people left who DIDN’T have a tattoo. It certainly was not on my bingo card!😵‍💫

As a mom who has always supported her daughter’s ambitions and artwork, I realized that that was about to change.👊

She was a high school junior and senior during the pandemic. And, like many other teens, her depression and loneliness was growing. 😰

One day, she tells us that there is no way she was going to spend the rest of her life behind a computer monitor in a cubicle (her perspective of business clearly comes from watching way too much of “The Office!”)🤩

It was then that she discovered tattooing! I have never seen her light up about anything like that before.💥

She got herself an apprenticeship at 18. Now, at almost 20, she is absolutely rocking it!! We are so proud of her and the work she is doing and for developing her own style. 🤩

As a parent, there is nothing cooler than watching your kids walk out their own dreams and becoming who you’ve raised them to be. 🥰

P.S. None of these pictures are of MY tattoos. They reflect some of my favorite work that she’s done.
